Rice Laddu

Ingredients

  1. Boiled rice 1 kg

  2. Jaggery ¼ kg or  as per taste

  3. Coconut-grated 1

  4. Ghee 1½ cup

  5. Cashewnuts

  6. Raisins

  7. Cardamom

Method

Wash boiled rice and dry in the sun. Heat a pan and dry roast rice till light brown in colour. Powder the rice in a mixer. Strain in a sieve to get a fine powder. Keep aside. Grind grated coconut and jaggery coarsely. Mix rice powder, coconut-jaggery mixture, ghee, dry fruits and cardamom powder. Make ladoos of desired size.
